FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Washington County GOP County Committee passed a resolution urging tabling of Bartlesville Comprehensive Plan.

The Washington County GOP County Committee passed a resolution urging tabling of Bartlesville Comprehensive Plan at the October 28th committee meeting.

The Resolution cited the OKGOP Platform’s positions on how the free market, not government should stimulate economic development, the disapproval of UN-pushed agendas including sustainability, clean energy, and climate action, and the OKGOP’s opposition to public-private partnerships.

The Resolution also urged the City Council to “[focus] on reducing government burden and intrusion into our daily lives, allowing the free market to thrive, and allowing the free market to find solutions to challenges in our city.”

The Resolution passed unanimously, urging the Bartlesville City Council to table the Bartlesville Comprehensive Plan.
